Sohe is a pan-Asian restaurant on Osborne Road in Jesmond, drawing on the cuisines of Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Korea and beyond. Its menu combines these influences using a range of ingredients, some described by the restaurant as rarely seen in Newcastle, served within a striking interior that blends tropical, exotic design with modern fixtures. Cocktails feature prominently, built around exotic spirits and fresh ingredients that echo Far Eastern flavours. As well as dining in, the restaurant offers takeaway, private dining, bottomless brunch and gift vouchers. Operated by the Cairn Hotel Group, it is one of the more design-led restaurants along Jesmond's main dining strip.
