Jesmond Parish Church

Officially the Clayton Memorial Church, designed by John Dobson and consecrated in 1861. One of the largest conservative evangelical congregations in the Church of England, with a substantial programme of services, courses, and community activities.

About Jesmond Parish Church

Jesmond Parish Church is an Anglican church on Eskdale Terrace with a conservative evangelical, Bible-centred tradition. Sunday services are held at 10:30am and 6:30pm, with livestream options. A registered charity, it runs a wide programme including home groups, prayer meetings, children's, youth and student work, and introductory courses such as Christianity Explored and Hope Explored. Other activities include sports groups, men's and women's groups, music, world mission initiatives and pastoral care. The church also operates sister congregations in Benwell and Gateshead.
