About Arlo
Arlo is an all-day eatery and bistro bar on Brentwood Avenue in West Jesmond, describing itself as a quirky foodie haven. It serves brunch and daytime food before transitioning to an evening bistro with small plates and full bar service, and also runs an in-house bakery producing cakes, scones, quiches and celebration cakes to eat in or take away. The kitchen emphasises locally sourced, seasonal, home-cooked food. Dogs are welcome in indoor seating and in two outdoor spaces, at the front and rear, which are heated and covered; the rear garden can be booked exclusively for groups. The interior is decorated with Alpine memorabilia and retro furnishings.
