The Cluny
Music venue, pub, and restaurant in the Ouseburn Valley on the southern edge of Jesmond. Renowned live music programme, weekend brunches, and a beer garden overlooking the valley.
About The Cluny
The Cluny is a live music venue, bar and cafe in a former flax spinning mill on Lime Street in Newcastle's Ouseburn Valley, just south of Jesmond. With a capacity of around 300, it is one of the area's best-known grassroots stages, mixing local acts with touring national and international artists, and operates a second smaller room, The Cluny 2. The bar is known for a wide range of real ales and world beers, favouring local and independent breweries, and the kitchen serves pub food including locally sourced burgers. Part of a wider building shared with artists' studios and offices, it functions as a bar, gallery and gig venue combined.
