About Oxfam Books & Music

Oxfam Books & Music is a specialist charity bookshop on St George's Terrace in Jesmond, open since July 2010. Its bright, airy space stocks around 5,000 books alongside some 2,000 records, plus CDs, games, sheet music, cards and stationery. The shop has built a strong reputation in the rare and collectable books and vinyl community, while also carrying contemporary fiction and modern non-fiction, and it hosts live music and literary events as a small cultural hub for the neighbourhood. As with all Oxfam shops, proceeds support the charity's work tackling poverty worldwide.
