About This Event
This informal circular walk of about two miles goes in search of the kingfishers of Jesmond Dene, with grey wagtail, goldcrest, redwing and ring-necked parakeet also likely along the way. It is led by Natural History Society of Northumbria naturalist Matthew Harrison and suits both new and experienced birders. Paths mix paving with uneven woodland tracks that can be muddy after rain, with several slopes, and public toilets are near the start. Bring binoculars if you have them, and book in advance through Eventbrite.
