About This Event
The Music Video Preservation Society returns to Tyneside Cinema for a Mercury Prize Fringe event celebrating the twelve albums shortlisted for the 2026 Mercury Prize, which is announced in Newcastle on 22 October. Featured artists include Dave, Florence + The Machine, JADE, Knats, Kojey Radical, Olivia Dean, Paul McCartney, RAYE and Suede. Special guests are director Lulu Vicedomini, who made the video for Newcastle jazz group Knats' Bowling Ball, and Chris Turner (Favourite Colour: Black), who directed two videos for Suede's Antidepressants.
