About Water Babies Jesmond
Water Babies runs baby and toddler swimming classes at the Northern Counties School, part of the Percy Hedley Foundation, on Tankerville Terrace in Jesmond, using the school's heated indoor pool. The programme is structured by age and stage, taking children from newborn babies through to more independent young swimmers, with a focus on water confidence and safety. Lessons are led by teachers trained to Swim England's Level 3 pre-school swimming qualification, the highest standard set by the sport's national governing body. The warm pool and small-group format make the classes well suited to very young children, and the central Jesmond location is convenient for families across the area.
