About The Tyne Bar

The Tyne Bar is an independent pub and live music venue at 1 Maling Street in the Ouseburn Valley, tucked beneath the Glasshouse (Ouseburn) Bridge. Trading since November 1994, it is known for its free live music, with a purpose-built outdoor stage hosting local bands and DJ nights, and describes itself as "Newcastle's Best Kept Secret". Its beer garden beneath the bridge is one of the city's best known, and the kitchen serves food daily from noon until 9pm, ranging from gourmet hot dogs and burgers to sharing plates, with vegetarian and vegan options.
