About Newcastle Cricket Club

Newcastle Cricket Club plays at the Jesmond Ground on Osborne Avenue, the same historic ground shared with Northumberland County Cricket Club and the Royal Grammar School. Run as a community interest company, the club fields men's sides in the North East Premier League, women's teams in the Northumberland Women's Cricket League and a full junior section from the youngest age groups upwards, alongside holiday cricket camps for children.

Off the field the ground is a genuine Jesmond community asset. The pavilion has a bar open to members and visitors, and the Pavilion Suite function room is available to hire for weddings, christenings, corporate events and private parties, with wheelchair access to the foyer, function room and the top of the terrace, and a disabled parking space opposite the ground entrance. The club also hosts community groups on site.
