About Kennedy & Rhind

Kennedy & Rhind is a bakery, licensed cafe and shop on Holly Avenue West in Jesmond, run by chefs David Kennedy and Murray Rhind. It began as a pop-up before taking a permanent site in the heart of Jesmond, where it bakes fresh bread, pastries and savouries daily. The cafe serves eat-in and takeaway food, while the adjoining shop sells baked goods to take home. The business has also appeared at pop-up events including Jesmond Food Market. Set in a warm, vibrant space, it has quickly become a popular local dining spot for breakfast, coffee and freshly baked treats.
