The Jesmond Ice Cream Company is a family business that sells natural ice cream and home-baked goods from a traditional British-made tricycle. The ice cream is Doddington's, made in Wooler with natural ingredients and no additives, served in tubs across around ten flavours including apple and cinnamon, mint and dark chocolate, and a vegan lemon sorbet. Home-baked treats include brownies, tiffin, lemon drizzle cake, rocky road and cookies. The trike is a regular fixture at Jesmond Food Market on Armstrong Bridge on the first and third Saturday of each month, and also appears at Gosforth Central Park and local fairs. The company caters weddings, corporate events and private functions.
