About Jesmond Food Market
Jesmond Food Market lines Armstrong Bridge, the Victorian iron bridge that carries Benton Bank over Jesmond Dene between Jesmond and Heaton, with around 30 stalls of North East food and drink. Expect bread, cheese, meat, fruit and veg, sweet things and hot street food, with a bar on the bridge itself.
The market is run by Local Heroes NE and trades on the first and third Saturday of every month from 10am to 3pm, all year round. It is free to browse and sits beside the Dene's paths, a 15 to 20 minute walk from Jesmond Metro.
