About Gosforth Garden Centre
Gosforth Garden Centre sits within Gosforth Park on the northern edge of Gosforth and is part of the family-owned British Garden Centres group, which it joined in 2025. It stocks a wide range of outdoor and indoor plants, along with garden furniture, barbecues, tools, pots, greenhouses, sheds and landscaping materials.
Beyond the plants, the centre carries home and gift lines and hosts The Gardener's Retreat restaurant, plus a soft play area for children and free parking. It is open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 6pm and on Sundays from 10am to 4.30pm, and sits just off the Great North Road.
