About Ernest

Ernest is an independent cafe, bar and restaurant at 1 Boyd Street, at the top end of the Ouseburn Valley. Established in 2012, it opens every day from 10am until late for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, with a seasonal food menu and gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan and dairy-free options. Drinks range from coffee to craft and draught beers, wine and cocktails. The venue hosts live music, comedy, free film screenings, arts events and DJ nights, and has an outdoor space for warmer days. It is family and dog friendly.
