About Cog and Wheel

Cog and Wheel is an independent cocktail bar and restaurant at 131 Sandyford Road, Sandyford, a short walk from Newcastle city centre and close to the Jesmond border. Open since July 2020, it pours draught beers, ciders and ales alongside a range of cocktails, gins and rums. The food menu spans daily brunch, tapas-style small plates, main meals and a traditional Sunday roast. Live music plays from Thursday to Sunday, and the bar also hosts a weekly quiz night and regular drinks offers through the week.
