Its name combines chakh, meaning to taste, and dhoom, meaning smoke, reflecting a kitchen built around fresh spices and traditional cooking techniques. The menu draws on the regional street food traditions of different Indian states and includes a main menu, a children's menu, desserts, a wine list, an early bird menu and a Sunday roast, with gluten-free and other allergen options. The restaurant won Best Street Food Restaurant of the Year at the Asian Restaurant and Takeaway Awards and supports local charities through its fundraising.
