About Captain Ted's

Captain Ted's is an award-winning pirate-themed soft play centre in a converted church hall on West Avenue in Gosforth, with visits lasting up to two hours. It was named Best Soft Play Area at the 2023 Northern Enterprise Awards and North East's Favourite Soft Play in 2024. Alongside general soft play, it runs a breakfast club with drop-off from 7:30am and a school run to a local first school, plus an after-school club offering cooking, arts and crafts, ball games and board games. Private birthday parties include party games, soft play, food, unlimited drinks and reserved seating for parents.
