About Aquajets Newcastle Swimming Club

AquaJets is a Newcastle swimming club and swim school that has been teaching children to swim in the city for around sixteen years. It takes children from age three in its learn-to-swim programme, progressing through transition swimming, development lane swimming and fitness sessions for those up to fifteen. Lessons at the Royal Grammar School pool in Jesmond run on Thursday evenings, while Saturday morning sessions are held at Sport Central at Northumbria University. All teachers are qualified through either Swim England or the Swimming Teachers' Association, hold the required safeguarding qualification and are fully DBS checked, offering a structured pathway from beginner classes through to more advanced lane swimming.
