Jack and the Beanstalk: Newcastle Theatre Royal Pantomime
Newcastle Theatre Royal's flagship family pantomime for the 2026/27 season, running from late November to mid-January.
About This Event
The Theatre Royal's traditional pantomime returns with Jack and the Beanstalk, running from Tuesday 24 November 2026 to Sunday 17 January 2027. Expect the slapstick, songs and spectacular stage effects that have made the Grey Street panto a North East institution. There are performances on most days across the long run: weekday evenings at 7pm, matinees at 2pm (some at 12pm or 1pm), Saturdays at 12pm, 3:30pm and 7pm, and Sundays at 1pm and 5pm. Accessible showings include relaxed, audio-described, captioned and BSL-interpreted performances. Children aged 16 and under receive a discount and family tickets are available on selected dates, so early booking is advised.
