About Waitrose Jesmond
Waitrose Jesmond is a Little Waitrose & Partners store at 87-89 Acorn Road, Jesmond's main north-south artery, a few minutes' walk from Acorn Road. It is Jesmond's premium supermarket for both everyday and special-occasion shopping, and while technically a Little Waitrose the range is comprehensive enough to handle a full weekly shop. Waitrose has always traded on quality, with reliably fresh produce, an excellent bakery section, a good deli counter, and own-brand products that compete with branded alternatives. The wine selection is a particular strength, better curated than most supermarkets of this size, with helpful shelf notes, and the vegan and free-from ranges are well represented. Opening hours are 7am to 10pm daily, making it convenient for early-morning and evening trips, and customer parking is available at the store, a genuine advantage where on-street spaces can be scarce. It is well served by bus routes along Acorn Road and walkable from both Jesmond and West Jesmond Metro stations.
