Doorstep Vet is an independent, family-run mobile veterinary practice covering Newcastle and the wider North East, including Jesmond. Rather than asking pets to travel, the team brings care to the home in modern, custom-built vans, with consultations carried out on the doorstep to reduce stress for anxious animals. Services include health checks, vaccinations, preventative care, puppy and kitten packages, diagnostic testing, prescription management, and in-home end-of-life care, alongside monthly pet health plans. Clients register online, book at a convenient time, and are notified before the vet arrives. The practice was named Best Vets in Tyne and Wear 2025 and holds Cat Friendly Clinic Bronze certification.
