Exhibition Park sits right on Jesmond's western edge, so when its summer concert series returns, plenty of residents can walk to the gig, and everyone nearby will notice the crowds. In the Park has confirmed its first headliner for 2027: Manchester indie band Courteeners will open the series on Thursday 8 July 2027, with special guests The Coral and Seb Lowe.

The Line-Up So Far

Courteeners are marking 20 years together with a greatest hits album, God Bless The Band, and the Exhibition Park date is one of a short run of outdoor summer shows. Liverpool's The Coral and Greater Manchester singer-songwriter Seb Lowe complete the bill. The headline show is confirmed on the organiser's own In the Park website.

The organiser's listings show further nights in the 2027 series with headliners still to be confirmed, so expect more announcements over the winter. Separately, the Lost Minds dance event is listed for Exhibition Park on Saturday 10 July 2027. This year's In the Park series featured Wolf Alice, Lewis Capaldi and Paul Weller.
